Advisor, Sustainable Transportation Incentives – U.S. Market
We are seeking an experienced Advisor to support the evaluation and execution of funding opportunities for sustainable transportation initiatives in the U.S. market.
Role Overview
The Advisor will help map grants and incentive programs across federal and sub‑national levels that support low‑emission transport and commercial fleets, including the infrastructure those projects depend on. The role will involve assessing eligibility criteria, application processes, timelines, compliance obligations, and likely financial impact on specific projects and portfolio companies.
You will work with Layden Ventures and selected companies to turn policy and public programs into practical funding pathways that strengthen business cases and accelerate deployment.
Key Experience
- Demonstrated experience with U.S. grants, incentives, and public funding programs related to sustainable transportation, clean energy, infrastructure, mobility, or fleet transition.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and regional incentive structures and regulatory frameworks.
- Established relationships with relevant public agencies, nonprofits, industry groups, enterprise fleets, or transportation stakeholders.
- Experience supporting complex commercial, partnership, business development, or sales operations.
- Ability to evaluate funding opportunities from both regulatory and commercial perspectives and translate them into clear recommendations for management teams.
Portfolio Manager – Infrastructure
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager focused on infrastructure‑related investments in our core markets.
Role Overview
The Portfolio Manager will oversee a set of infrastructure‑exposed investments and work closely with founding teams to track performance, manage risk, and report progress against the fund’s thesis. The role covers portfolio monitoring, capital allocation recommendations, support on follow‑on decisions, and preparation of materials for internal and investor use.
You will act as a bridge between investment decisions and portfolio reporting, helping the firm refine its view of how infrastructure markets in Europe are evolving.
Key Experience
- Experience in portfolio management or project finance within infrastructure, ideally with exposure to assets in our core sectors.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data from portfolio companies and translate it into clear insights for partners and investors.
- Familiarity with European infrastructure or energy markets, including regulatory and commercial drivers.
- Comfort working directly with management teams on reporting and forward planning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare concise portfolio updates and materials for LP reporting.
Head of Investor Relations
We are hiring a Head of Investor Relations to lead how Layden Ventures communicates with existing and prospective investors.
Role Overview

The role includes maintaining relationships with existing LPs, supporting future fundraisers, coordinating regular reporting, and ensuring that Layden Ventures’ strategy and portfolio progress are presented clearly and consistently.
You will work closely with the partners on fund positioning and investor materials, and on the information flow that supports long‑term relationships.
Key Experience
- Significant experience in investor relations within private markets, ideally combined with fundraising or capital introduction exposure.
- Track record of managing relationships with institutional investors and family offices, or similar sophisticated LPs.
- Experience producing high‑quality investor communications, including quarterly reports, presentations, DDQ materials, and AGM content.
- Strong understanding of private fund structures and how performance and regulatory requirements shape investor communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and with context.
